About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team. This position offers both full-time and part-time availability, with shifts from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Availability to work every other weekend is required. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities, maintaining their personal hygiene, ensuring a safe and healthy environment, and providing routine healthcare needs. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting changes in resident health status, maintaining patient care records, discussing observations with leadership, and recording vital signs monthly.
Requirements
- Must possess a NJ CNA or HHA License.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with daily ADL’s.
- Helping the residents to maintain good personal hygiene.
- Assisting in maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Providing routine individualized healthcare needs.
- Monitoring or reporting changes in health status.
- Maintaining records of patient care, condition, progress or problems to report.
- Discussing observations with leader.
- Recording vital signs monthly such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse or respiration rate.
