About The Position
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic CNA/HHA to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential one-on-one care to an individual in the comfort of their own home, helping them maintain their independence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys the company of, and caring for others. Must be able to communicate effectively and have experience working with dementia.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
- Assist with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, incontinence care, and companionship
- Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
- Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
- Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
