CNA/HHA Male Caregiver | Part Time Home Care Case
About The Position
YAH Home Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced male CNA or HHA caregiver for a private home care case in Boynton Beach, FL. This is a part time daytime opportunity providing personalized one on one support to a client who needs dependable assistance, companionship, and safe transportation. This role is a great fit for a caregiver who enjoys building trust with clients, takes pride in providing respectful care, and is comfortable helping a client remain active, supported, and independent in their daily routine. The client has requested a male caregiver due to personal care preferences and comfort level.
Requirements
- Male CNA or HHA caregiver
- Valid Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
- Minimum of 3 years of hands on caregiving experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Proof of auto insurance
- Comfortable transporting the client as needed
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification
- Previous private duty or one on one home care experience
- Experience supporting older adults with mobility needs, safety supervision, or daily routine assistance
Responsibilities
- Providing one on one support in a private home setting
- Assisting with activities of daily living, including grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care
- Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Supporting safe mobility, transfers, walking assistance, and fall prevention
- Preparing light meals or snacks based on the client’s needs
- Providing medication reminders as permitted
- Transporting the client using your own vehicle for approved errands, appointments, or outings
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Observing and reporting any changes in the client’s condition or needs
- Following the individualized care plan
- Communicating professionally with the client, family, and care team
