About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking CNAs and HHAs to provide meaningful one-on-one care for seniors and adults in their homes. This role offers an alternative to facility work, allowing caregivers to focus on a single client, follow a personalized care plan, and make a direct impact on someone's daily life. This is a W-2 employee position, not a 1099 contractor role. Assisting Hands Home Care is a locally owned agency operated by a husband and wife team, with an office team dedicated to supporting caregivers with communication, scheduling, and case information. They believe in fostering a supportive environment where caregivers feel respected, heard, and appreciated.

Requirements

• Active Florida CNA license or classroom HHA certificate
• Successful Level II Background Screening
• Recent TB screening
• Classroom CPR certification
• HIV/AIDS training
• Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias training
• Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication training
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Paid caregiving experience with seniors or adults needing personal care
• Strong communication skills
• Dependable, professional, and caring attitude

Nice To Haves

• Comfort with pets preferred

Responsibilities

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
• Transfers and mobility support
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping to keep the client's living area safe and sanitary
• Companionship and conversation
• Medication reminders
• Help with errands or appointments when included in the care plan
• Reporting concerns or changes to the office
