About The Position

Dakota Alpha is a 20-bed skilled nursing facility in Mandan, ND, specializing in rehabilitation for individuals with traumatic brain injuries—the only facility of its kind in North Dakota. We take a person-centered approach, believing every individual deserves dignity, respect, and the chance to reach their full potential. We’re looking for dependable and compassionate Transporter- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who are passionate about helping residents gain independence while providing care with dignity and respect.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Current Certified Nurse Assistant Certification
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Desire to collaborate and work as an active and positive team member.

Responsibilities

  • Transport resident to and from medical appointments safely and in a timely manner, utilizing facility van.
  • Be the liaison between the consulting providers and Dakota Alpha.
  • Ensure that reliable and relevant information is relayed appropriately.
  • Schedule resident appointments with consulting providers.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, mobility, etc.) as needed.
  • Follow individualized care plans to ensure quality, person-centered care.
  • Communicate concerns or changes in resident needs promptly to nursing staff.
