About The Position
Preferred Professional Services (PPS) is a proud affiliate of National Health Care Associates, a growing network of more than 40 short-term rehabilitation and long-term care centers. They have per diem shifts available now in their Long-Term Care and Rehab Facilities for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are passionate about making a real difference in people's lives in an environment where compassion, care and expertise come together.
Requirements
- Valid state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Dedication to upholding high standards of care
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Collaborating with the nursing team to develop care plans
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
