About The Position

We have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility, variety, and career growth, while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole-person care to our flourishing communities. The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the CommonSpirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system. CommonSpirit Health values its incredible CNAs and want to ensure they practice at top of their license to better optimize their skills and experience. We’ve also developed a career path framework for CNAs that clarifies paths to move, develop and advance CNA careers into nursing and other roles. The CNA provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

Requirements

  • 1 year of Acute care (hospital) experience required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
  • State registered CNA license required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
  • Floats to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all facilities within the CommonSpirit Mountain Region system.
  • Supports and supplements the workload and staffing needs across the system.

  • Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials (for Enterprise Pool 1 and 2)
