About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Evenings position plays a critical role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients during the evening shift. Requirements
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of patient care and safety procedures.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by the employer.
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Patient care techniques, vital sign monitoring, and safety protocol adherence.
- Communication skills are essential for accurately documenting patient information and collaborating with nursing staff to address patient needs promptly.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity are necessary to assist patients with mobility and personal care tasks safely.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working as a CNA in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Provide mobility assistance, including helping patients move safely and comfortably within the facility.
- Observe patients for any changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Support patients emotionally by offering companionship and responding to their needs with empathy.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required during the evening shift.
- Document all care provided and patient observations accurately in compliance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times.
