About The Position

WesleyLife is seeking a CNA Educator to design, deliver, and evaluate clinical education programs. This role involves creating engaging learning experiences in both online and in-person formats, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and WesleyLife philosophies. The educator will collaborate with various teams to establish processes, secure resources, and implement tracking systems for program success. Key responsibilities include defining KPIs, monitoring program metrics, and developing training plans to meet annual requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
  • 1 year of hands-on experience as an RN within a long-term-care setting
  • A valid Iowa RN license

Nice To Haves

  • Certified in one of more of the following or able to obtain within 6 months of hire: MHFA, CPR / BLS Instructor Certification.
  • Completed Wound Care Certification, IV Certification, Certified Dementia Practitioner or other identified areas of clinical competency.
  • Proficient in the use of learning development and delivery software (Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate clinical learning programs in both online and in-person formats.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and WesleyLife philosophies.
  • Collaborate with Health Services, Clinical Excellence, and Organizational Learning to establish documentation and processes.
  • Secure classrooms and equipment.
  • Create auditing and tracking systems for ongoing program success.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for clinical training programs.
  • Maintain and report on retention, completion, and other metrics to assess program impact.
  • Develop onboarding and orientation practices that meet annual training requirements.
  • Oversee clinical training programs.
