About The Position

At 5 Star Cares, you’re not just working a shift—you’re making a real difference in the lives of individuals who need skilled, compassionate care every day. We’re looking for experienced caregivers who are confident working in acute care, rehab, or skilled nursing environments and are ready to bring that expertise into a supportive, team-focused setting. Weekend options include every Saturday & Sunday or every-other weekend.

Requirements

• 2+ years in acute care, rehab, or skilled nursing
• Experience with high-acuity patients
• Active BLS/CPR & First Aid (AHA or Red Cross)
• Strong communication & documentation skills
• Ability to lift/assist up to 50 lbs
• Must pass AHCA Level 2 Background Screening

Nice To Haves

• Behavioral health or developmental disability experience

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care (bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility)
• Support ADLs with dignity and compassion
• Work with higher-acuity / Level 2 residents
• Assist individuals with intellectual & behavioral health needs
• Document care and communicate with the team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and structured environment
