About The Position
5 Star Cares is seeking compassionate and experienced caregivers (CNAs/DSPs/HHAs/PCAs) to join their team in Lutz, FL. This role involves supporting residents with higher-acuity and Level 2 needs in group home settings. Ideal candidates will have experience in acute care, rehab, or skilled nursing and a passion for making a difference in residents' lives. The position offers 12-hour day shifts, with weekend availability including every-other weekend.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care, rehab, or skilled nursing
- Experience with higher-acuity patients preferred
- Current CPR/BLS & First Aid certification
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to lift/assist up to 50 lbs
- Must pass AHCA Level 2 Background Screening
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, mobility, feeding, and ADLs
- Support individuals with intellectual and/or behavioral health needs
- Document care and communicate with the care team
