About The Position

Givens Highland Farms Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Black Mountain, is seeking a full-time CNA for the Day shift, 7am-7pm. The Nursing Assistant role is meaningful and vital, working in a supportive environment and positively impacting the lives of residents, visitors, and team members daily. The position requires availability to work Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays.
Requirements
- Active listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I (CNA) Registry
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Assist nurses in the care of residents
- Transfer and transport residents
- Assist with feeding
- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Use of gait belt and proper body mechanics
