About The Position
Join WesleyLife and Help Revolutionize the Aging Experience! As a CNA/CMA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and passing medications. You will provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment. Conduct routine health monitoring, such as checking vital signs and administering medications. Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities. Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care. Hearthstone, located in the heart of Pella, Iowa, is a WesleyLife Community for Healthy Living offering a comprehensive range of services including independent living, assisted living, memory support, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term nursing care across three distinct campuses. Embracing a ministry approach, Hearthstone focuses on enhancing residents' lives through engagement, respect, compassion, and joy. We feature an award-winning household model with 16 residents in each home engaging with one another and our greater community. Requirements
- State of Iowa Active CNA license
Nice To Haves
- CMA preferred but not required
- Prior experience in LTC and/or AL preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and passing medications.
