About The Position

Western Home Communities is offering a no-cost Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program for individuals interested in starting or advancing a career in healthcare at Western Home. This opportunity is open to both internal and external candidates. This program is part of a registered apprenticeship through the U.S. Department of Labor and provides a direct pathway into a CNA role upon successful completion.

Requirements

• Ability to attend all scheduled training and clinical sessions.
• Interest in working with seniors in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to meet pre-employment requirements (background check, health screening, etc.).
• Strong reliability, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend all scheduled training and clinical sessions.
• Work with seniors in a healthcare setting.
• Accept a CNA position with Western Home Communities upon successful completion of the program.
• Work at least part-time hours.
• Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Complete CNA state certification testing.
• Participate in clinical onboarding.
• Attend department placement meetings.
