About The Position

This is a state certified nurse aide training program at The Trace. To be considered for the class, applicants must provide a completed application, valid photo identification, and Social Security card at the time of their interview. The program requires a minimum grade average of 85 and permits no absences or tardiness. A deposit of $40 is required on the first day for books and supplies, which will be returned upon graduation. Students must also purchase a set of scrubs. Criminal background checks and registry checks (Tennessee and National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults) will be conducted. Individuals with felony convictions, certain misdemeanor charges, or those found on the abuse registry cannot be admitted. Selection is based on facility need, candidate's shift availability and flexibility, previous work history, and attitude.
