Requirements
- Active CNA certification (Iowa Nurse Aide Registry, or an active out-of-state CNA certification you can transfer to Iowa)
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Available for rotating weekends and some holidays
Nice To Haves
- Experience communicating with residents and families in a care setting
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Help carry out each resident's individualized care plan
- Take part in resident social activities and community events
- Support residents' overall health, dignity, and comfort
- Watch for changes in a resident's physical or emotional condition and report them to nursing staff
