Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through: American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI)
High school diploma or equivalent
Currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing with: ACEN accreditation, CCNE accreditation, CNEA accreditation
Nurse Apprentice Letter or Nursing Intern Letter from the State Board of Nursing
No prior healthcare experience required

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including: Bathing and hygiene, Turning and repositioning, Mobility and transfers
Obtain and document vital signs
Observe and report changes in patient condition
Assist with continuous patient monitoring
Support routine patient care procedures
Collaborate closely with Registered Nurses, Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, Respiratory Therapists, Rehabilitation Services, Case Management and other interdisciplinary team members
Provide hands-on care and compassionate support to patients throughout their hospital experience.
Collaborate closely with nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
