About The Position

As a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in our Day Center and providing in-home care, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our participants receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship, your work will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve in Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale counties. This role involves regular travel between Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale counties providing Home Based Care. No schedule mandation. Mileage reimbursement offered. Great work life balance!

Requirements

A current and valid Michigan CNA Certification, required.
CPR Certified or willing to optain.
The ability to read, write, understand, and follow directions.
A heart for helping others and the physical ability to lift, stand, bend, transfer, stretch, walk, push, and pull as needed.
Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds frequently is required
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

Six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed CNA, preferred.
Prior home care experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
Respond with kindness and compassion.
Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
Participate in after-hour on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
