About The Position

UW Medical Center-Northwest) 4D Long Term Civil Commitment has an outstanding opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT) position. This is a regular, 90% FTE (36 hours per week) position with a day shift. The primary responsibilities include providing direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse. This involves assisting patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, toileting, and eating. The role also requires maintaining a safe environment of care, patient transportation, preparing patients for surgery, performing non-invasive lab procedures, transporting equipment and supplies, assisting with treatments, performing various clerical tasks, and taking vital signs.

Requirements

Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume)
High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; OR equivalent education/experience.
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date

Responsibilities
