About The Position

Empathy Hands Homecare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and qualified caregivers to serve our clients in the Palm Desert Area. We are looking for Covid-vaccinated, experienced Caregivers, CNAs, or Senior Companions for clients in the PALM DESERT AREA. This is our agency's goal. We want patient-focused individuals like you who truly care about quality home care and are committed to providing our clients with the best possible care. We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregivers and CNAs to join our growing team in the Palm Desert area. Requirements

• A minimum of 12 months of caregiving experience in performing personal care
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Current TB skin test or clear x-ray
• Fingerprint Clearance (Live Scan)
• Three professional and three personal references
• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with California state regulations
• Caregiving and/or CNA experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Speak English well
• Good driving record
• Detail-oriented and highly motivated
• Exceptional time management skills
• Familiar with the challenges of working with Seniors
• Highly organized
• Can work independently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Own vehicle and a cell phone

Nice To Haves

• Current CNA certification is welcomed but not required for caregiver positions
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Holds a valid Personal Care Aide or CNA Certificate, but ( not required )

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
