Amada Senior Care provides compassionate, non-medical, in-home care to seniors, many of whom are veterans. We are looking for dedicated, dependable, and compassionate caregivers to join our team in Katy, TX, and surrounding areas. Requirements

Valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
2 years of caregiving experience is required
Ability and willingness to drive within a 25-mile radius of your home address
Ability and willingness to work with both male and female patients
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
Supportive and compassionate attitude

Responsibilities

Providing in-home companionship to elderly clients
Assisting with personal hygiene and basic needs, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
Reminding clients to take prescribed medication
Helping with mobility around the home and outside the home, including doctor’s appointments and walks
Planning and preparing meals
Completing client shopping or accompanying clients while they successfully complete their shopping
Performing basic housekeeping duties
Reporting unusual incidents and responding quickly and responsibly during emergencies
Offering activities that are essential for daily living
