About The Position

SUNRIDGE ASSISTED LIVING OF ROY is looking for compassionate, fun, energetic individuals to join our caregiving team! We are seeking CNAs and Caregivers who are eager to grow with us and potentially become a Med Tech, learning to pass medications safely and efficiently. We are hiring for Day shifts, and have a Full Time position available.

Requirements

Basic computer skills
Self-starter and able to work independently
Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals, and to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
Possess a love for the elderly
Have a positive and compassionate attitude
Background check required upon hire
Food handlers permit required upon hire
CPR/First Aid certification required upon hire
TB test required upon hire

Caring for elderly residents
Assisting residents with all activities of daily living (ADLs)
Documenting and notifying RCC and nurse of any changes or concerns in residents' condition
Performing all duties assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator
