ComForCare Home Care – Central DuPage is urgently hiring experienced Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs for high-paying weekday day shift opportunities. Requirements
- Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or Private Duty Caregiver
- Experienced in senior care, home care, or personal care
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs
- Dependable and punctual
- Compassionate and patient
- Comfortable providing hands-on care
- Able to work independently in a client's home
- Professional when communicating with clients and families
- Available consistently during weekday daytime hours
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dementia care
- Experience with Alzheimer's care
- Experience with mobility assistance
- Experience with companionship
- Experience with personal care
Responsibilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Providing personal care and hygiene assistance
- Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing incontinence care when needed
- Assisting with mobility and safe transfers
- Preparing meals and assisting with meals
- Providing medication reminders according to the care plan
- Accompanying clients to appointments or errands when applicable
- Providing companionship and meaningful interaction
- Performing light housekeeping related to client care
- Supporting daily routines and activities
- Following individualized care plans
- Reporting changes in the client's condition
- Communicating with family members and the ComForCare care team
