About The Position
BrightStar Care Salt Lake City is seeking dependable and compassionate Caregivers and CNAs for overnight work. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while providing support, flexibility, and recognition. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling in various settings throughout the Salt Lake Valley.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified CPR
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to work with little direct supervision
- Compassion and empathy for the needs of clients
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Professional, courteous, and respectful attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Follow the client's plan of care.
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation.
- Provide light housekeeping and other appropriate household support.
- Provide transportation when required.
- Provide compassionate companionship and support throughout the overnight shift.
