About The Position

Southern Companions is immediately hiring in-home caregivers to serve the Gainesville, Dawsonville, Flowery Branch, Dahlonega, and surrounding areas. We are a privately owned company dedicated to providing a high level of care for the elderly, disabled, and post-operative patients. We offer one-on-one care, allowing for a better understanding of each client's needs. While we prefer at least two years of experience or a CNA certification, we provide extensive training to ensure caregivers are comfortable and prepared for their job settings. We are committed to your professional growth and will support you in reaching your goals.

Requirements

• Reliable with strong time management skills.
• Valid TB test.
• In-person CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Empathetic with an upbeat personality and a willingness to make a difference.
• Effective communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Dependable car with a valid license and insurance.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of experience.
• CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care for the elderly, disabled, and post-operative patients.
• Offer one-on-one care to clients.
• Adapt to ever-changing situations in the home.
