About The Position
Senior Helpers of Spokane is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as CNA Caregivers / In-Home Care Aides. In this role, you will provide one-on-one personal care to help clients remain safe and independent in their homes. We match your expertise and experience with the seniors you will care for. Requirements
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Current car insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Washington State Home Care Aides (HCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with caregiving certifications may be eligible for a faster onboarding process and starting rate of pay.
Responsibilities
- Engage in fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships.
- Participate in clients' favorite hobbies such as scrapbooking, gardening, and games.
- Prepare meals for clients.
- Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide toiling assistance.
- Administer medication reminders.
- Report completed activities and provide updates on clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
