About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The role has full access to patient health information and may have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 36 hours per week, and offers a shift differential from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A sign-on bonus is eligible for this position.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
