About The Position
Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Meadow Ridge community, a premier life care retirement community in Redding, Connecticut. Meadow Ridge offers Independent and Assisted Living apartment homes, as well as a skilled Health Center. The CNA will play a key role in delivering care to residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment in the Assisted Living neighborhoods. The community is committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion among its associates.
Requirements
- Must be a CT State Certified CNA to be considered for employment
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff
- Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support
- Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care
- Other duties as needed
