About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects. This role ensures that all project activities are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client and regulatory expectations. The Project Manager works closely with technical staff, field personnel, and clients to deliver high-quality results, manage budgets, and support operational excellence across their specific service line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline; OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • For non-degreed candidates: 7–10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards (ASTM, AASHTO, etc.) and ability to interpret technical specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific platforms (e.g., project management, data reporting systems).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel to job sites and work in diverse environmental conditions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and interface with clients and regulatory bodies effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in relevant inspection or testing areas preferred.
  • EI/EIT license with the ability to obtain a PE license within 1-2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from proposal through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
  • Develop project estimates, proposals, and scopes of work in collaboration with technical and business development teams.
  • Coordinate and assign resources, including field technicians and support staff, to ensure project needs are met efficiently.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to manage expectations, address issues, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Track project financial performance, including cost control, revenue forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g. ASTM, ACI, ICC), specifications, and industry best practices.
  • Perform or supervise field inspections or construction materials testing and special inspectios testing when needed.
  • Review and approve reports, and client documentation; ensure timely submission of project deliverables.
  • Support employee development through training, mentorship, and performance feedback; participate in hiring and onboarding as needed.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to company safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with identifying add-on or follow-on work opportunities through client engagement and field visibility.
  • Prepare reports and technical documents for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, laboratory, safety, and operational teams
