The Chemical Management Technician is accountable for representing company values, quality, and commitment, for maintaining adequate stock levels, and performing value added functions of chemical management on the customer site or our warehouse locations. This role requires a passion for Incora Values and exceeding customer expectations. The technician will maintain strong knowledge of company products including hardware, chemicals, tooling, and electric components, services, inventory systems, quality requirements, and customer plans and specifications. They will monitor production floor bins and storage cabinets to determine when replenishment of stock is needed, perform regular inventory inspections for shelf life/expiration dates, and conduct basic analysis/sampling and review of chemical compatibility. The role involves performing chemical additions to process tanks per written guidance, ensuring availability and coordinating delivery of necessary chemicals, and packaging and preparing material for shipment. Utilizing hand scanners to scan stocking locations and transmit replenishment orders, receiving and verifying product and documentation, and gathering, delivering, and stocking inventory are key functions. The technician will also level load production floor bins, utilize pallet jacks, drum dollies, forklifts, and/or order pickers when trained/certified, and maintain floor cleanliness, apply labels, and repair/replace bins, cabinets, and racks. Communication with customer Production Floor Supervisors and Lead Persons regarding part numbers, bin changes, and quantities is essential, as is communicating part expedites, quality issues, and other problems to management for resolution. Actively seeking and recommending process improvements is encouraged. The role requires accommodating special customer requirements, including schedule changes, overtime, and working holidays/weekends. Periodic data reviews for machine maintenance related to fluids, and processing machine maintenance by draining, cleaning, and replenishing materials are also part of the duties. The technician must follow established work procedures to ensure compliance with customer site requirements, safety and security processes, and alignment with Federal, State, and Local regulatory agencies including OSHA, FAR, EPA, DOT, and RCRA requirements. Performing Waste Management is required where applicable by contract/site. Attending regularly scheduled customer or company-sponsored meetings and/or training is necessary. Specific tasks include gas cylinder deliveries, dispensing, down packing, and liquid nitrogen dewar filling. The ability to travel between customers’ sites is required, and other duties as assigned.
