About The Position

As an Analog Devices Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will play an integral role in the successful production of ADI products that transform how the world works, plays, and communicates. At our Beaverton site we manufacture Integrated Circuits that are used in all forms of the electronics spectrum from industrial to consumer devices. This role will be situated in our cleanroom wafer fabrication facility and will require successful applicants to perform the following duties: Assist in Tool maintenance and repair both planned and unplanned Assist in Root cause troubleshooting and fault finding to component level. Assist in ongoing tool development and enhancement. Propose projects for reducing cost, improving tool availability, and increasing tool and/or systems efficiency Work with engineering tool owners in hands-on practical investigation and resolution on hardware Ability to work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools & test equipment. Strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting issues and solutions. Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multi-task. Be capable of working with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to wear required PPE and cleanroom garments including, but not limited to, full-body jumpsuit, safety glasses, nitrile gloves, face masks, hairnets, hoods and closed-toe cleanroom shoes
  • Experience in the use of hand tools
  • Ability to read, comprehend and adhere to written procedures, both on paper and a computer monitor, and ability to respond to verbal directions accurately and efficiently
  • Basic personal computer and keyboarding skills for accurate input of data
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate written and orally
  • Demonstrated work performance in an environment requiring a high level of attention to detail and follow-up
  • Ability to walk and stand continuously throughout a 12-hour shift
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs frequently
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to hear and respond immediately to equipment alarms

Nice To Haves

  • Working toward associate degree or formal training in maintenance/mechanical field
  • Strong hands-on maintenance and repair background
  • Previous experiences and familiarity with a cleanroom or semiconductor factory environment, preferably CMP
  • Capable of demonstrating analytical troubleshooting methods (Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving, 5-why), and First Time Right repair skills
