Requirements

  • AA/AS or BA/BS in science/engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1+ years in semiconductor manufacturing; CMP experience preferred.
  • Basic SPC knowledge and ability to document actions.
  • Good communication and ability to follow SOPs and complete shift logs.

Responsibilities

  • Run CMP tools: load wafers, select recipes, and monitor the process.
  • Troubleshoot basic tool issues and escalate to reduce downtime and keep operations safe.
  • Check slurry, pads, chemicals, and tool setup before processing lots.
  • Record process data, follow specs/SPC, and report any out-of-spec results.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize lots, and complete clear shift handoffs.
  • Support engineers with tests, collect metrology data, and help train new technicians.
  • Do routine checks and PMs, change consumables, and follow cleanroom and chemical safety rules.
