About The Position

JSM Airport Services is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our CMMS Database Administrator at the Denver International Airport (DEN). This is a career-track opportunity, and we are looking for an individual ready to commit to a long-term professional future with our company, starting with an expected commitment of one year or more. The essential functions of the role are to structure, utilize, and maintain Fiix, the company’s chosen Computerized Maintenance Management System (“CMMS“), as it relates to the requirements of our contract with DEN. Our contract focuses on the operation, maintenance & repair services of the airport’s baggage handling system. This position will also be instrumental in standardizing and optimizing Fiix’s local business processes in support of the operation’s maintenance work orders, spare parts administration, and management reporting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • At least one (1) year of database software experience (preferred but not required), including knowledge of scripting and how databases work (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Must demonstrate intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word and Excel (for report modification/data manipulation)
  • Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress, offering solutions to resolve issues.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet defined deadlines.
  • Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must possess the versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently and as a member of various teams, a self-starter.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • The applicant must be able to successfully pass a drug screen (we promote/maintain a Drug Free Workplace), a driver's license check, a background check, and required federal fingerprinting, security threat assessment, as well as airport security badging, for continued employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience with EAM or CMM software (highly preferred, but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Accurate, complete, and timely entry of data into the various Fiix Preventative Maintenance Module(s).
  • Perform periodic reviews and data tracking of key performance indicators, as required by contract.
  • Maintain the Fiix database of assets.
  • Generate reports on various scheduled timelines, as assigned by management and as required by contract.
  • Interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals between JSM & Associates and City and County of Denver (CCD), including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Safety and compliance training as required.
  • Perform other reasonable ancillary duties to support the operation and our customers.
