About The Position

This off-shift CMM Programmer will be in our Whitehall Casting Operation. Permanent off-shift hours are flexible to be 2nd, 3rd, or weekend crew. The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Write programs for Periodic and First Article Inspections. Perform multi-piece part and die inspections using DCC Coordinate Measuring Machines and Vision Systems. Perform general troubleshooting of CMM machine issues in a manufacturing environment. Assist in training manufacturing CMM operators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years general dimensional inspection experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience in general dimensional inspection including GD&T and have experience programming PCDMIS or Calypso.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to understand blueprints and geometrical tolerancing/dimensioning practices.
• Computer literacy with emphasis CMM type software.
• Familiar with the operation and general troubleshoot of Coordinate Measuring Machines.
