About The Position

This role involves creating and proving out CMM programs according to quality plans, customer specifications, and requirements. The CMM Programmer will also be responsible for creating work instructions, performing program correlation, and operating the CMM to verify product quality. Additionally, the role includes maintaining inventory, ensuring a clean work area, and adhering to all HSE and QMS requirements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in creating CMM programs.
• Ability to prove out CMM programs for operator safety.
• Skill in creating written work instructions.
• Experience with CMM program correlation.
• Ability to operate CMM for product verification.
• Knowledge of CMM reporting procedures.
• Understanding of HSE and QMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create CMM programs per quality plan, customer specifications and customer requirements.
• Prove out CMM programs to ensure that they can be safely run by an operator.
• Create accurate and easy to follow written work instruction.
• Perform CMM program correlation.
• Provide data for any special handling work instructions.
• Operate CMM to verify in-process and finished product.
• Print and save completed CMM reports.
• Notify Quality Manager when deviation is found.
• Maintain stylus inventory.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Perform additional tasks as required or assigned by the Quality Control Manager.
• Abide by and support all HSE and QMS requirements.
