About The Position
We are a rapidly growing aerospace manufacturer seeking a CMM Operator to operate 2 Hexagon Metrology CMM's with the 2026 version of PC-DMIS for high-precision, complex parts. The role involves executing and validating AS9102 First Article using Net-Inspect and assisting in creating AS9102 1st Article Inspection reports. A mechanical inspection background is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 + years of dedicated CMM operating experience specifically in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Basic proficiency in PC-DMIS.
- Understanding of ASME Y14.5 & Y14.1 GD&T.
- Flawless mastery of complex aerospace engineering drawings, specifications, and digital product definitions.
- Proven experience inspecting diverse aerospace materials, including titanium, Inconel, and aluminum.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
Nice To Haves
- PC-DMIS programming experience.
- Basic understanding of PC-DMIS routines using CAD models and Model-Based Definition (MBD).
- Mechanical inspection background and ability to perform such.
