About The Position
CenterLine (Windsor), Limited is seeking a CMM Operator to join their Quality Team. This role is responsible for measuring fixtures, assemblies, parts, and components to ensure they meet customer requirements. The position reports to the Quality Supervisor. CenterLine is a leader in manufacturing resistance welding, spot welding, arc welding, and metal working equipment, and is a growing, family-owned business since 1957.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma, or Quality Department (CMM) experience.
- Good computer skills in business application programs (MS Word, Excel, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Create CMM Programs from CAD files or part prints.
- Inspect parts using CMM or other gauges when requested by the Manufacturing Department or customer.
- Set up work fixtures to engineering nominal dimensions using fixed type or portable CMM equipment.
- Participate and assist in GR&R studies, as required.
- Complete gauge calibration and control.
- Collect SPC data, create charts, and perform calculations, as required.
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks in the Quality Department as assigned by the Quality Supervisor.
