We are seeking a detail-oriented CMM Operator / Quality Inspector to support our quality team by inspecting aerospace components and ensuring compliance with customer and engineering requirements. This position is responsible for operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), performing manual and visual inspections, verifying documentation and certifications, and supporting overall product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T and engineering drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to use standard inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gages, and depth gages
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection, CMM operation, or aerospace manufacturing preferred
  • Experience operating CMM equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and visual inspection of aerospace products to customer and engineering requirements
  • Operate a variety of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Use precision inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gages, depth gages, inspection fixtures, and related equipment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
  • Verify supplier certifications and supporting documentation
  • Accept or reject product based on inspection results and quality standards
  • Document inspection findings using Microsoft Office products and quality documentation systems
  • Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure product conformity
  • Support additional quality-related duties as assigned
