About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspection Technician with experience in manufacturing environments to perform dimensional inspections, calibration verification, and quality documentation. The technician will work with CMM equipment, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure products meet applicable specifications, codes, and standards.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional technical education or certification preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and computerized build plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, detailed work.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work professionally within a team environment.
  • Experience performing hand gage inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment and other inspection tools.
  • Use hand tools and precision measuring equipment to verify that parts meet required specifications.
  • Conduct functional, mechanical, and visual inspections of components and assemblies.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to confirm product compliance.
  • Document and maintain inspection and calibration records.
  • Perform inspections and calibrations according to written instructions and procedures.
  • Select appropriate inspection methods and techniques.
  • Verify the calibration status of all measuring and testing equipment used in the work area.
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Set up and calibrate inspection equipment and analyze measurement results.
  • Develop clear feature labeling and structured inspection reports for data tracking and retrieval.
  • Troubleshoot inspection equipment and systems as needed.
  • Establish and perform preventative maintenance procedures for inspection equipment.
  • Conduct periodic work reviews and audits to ensure compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Understand the importance of inspection activities in delivering defect-free products.
