CMM Operator II (Second Shift)
About The Position
Operates and programs the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for inspection of product. Gathers, analyzes, and reports custom written programs to generate inspection data for manufacturing, engineering, and quality. Performs all dimensional layouts using coordinate measuring equipment and prepares layout reports. This role requires skills developed through formal training or work experience, working within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify approach. Completes assigned tasks with a moderate degree of supervision and performs manual tasks according to established procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Machine Operation
- Precision Measurement
- Reading Blueprints/Diagrams
- Safety knowledge

Responsibilities
- Operates CMM equipment to perform measurement, inspection, and testing of production materials and components using previously prepared inspection programs.
- Mounts or installs tools, attachments, fixtures, or work pieces on CMM.
- Performs in-process or final inspections.
- Documents and reports non-conforming materials as required.
- Reads blueprints and specifications.
