About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CMM Technician to support quality operations in a fast-paced injection molding environment. This role is responsible for performing dimensional inspections using CMM equipment and software such as PC-DMIS and PolyWorks, analyzing measurement data, and communicating results to engineering and manufacturing teams. The position is also responsible for conducting MSA's and gauge calibration.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Dimensional inspection and/or community college course work; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have successfully completed an approved GD&T training; Ex: Hexagon, ASME, Mitutoyo
• Experience using measurement equipment with custom set-ups to inspect parts.

Responsibilities

• Performs dimensional inspections to CAD data using PC-DMIS/Polyworks
• Analyzes and reports from dimensional software and communicates findings to engineering
• Conducts dimensional troubleshooting on blueprints
• Conducts gage R&R’s and MSA’s
• Calibrates/Verifies gages under company procedure specifications
• Utilizes Gage Trak software to maintain records of gages and calibrations
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance as scheduled
• Works safely and without injury through adherence to all safety rules and guidelines.
• Other duties may be assigned.
