About The Position

The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems, is seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector) for its 2nd Shift. In this role as a QA, you will work with a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base. You'll also provide auditing support to shop floor operations. Note: Position supports 2nd Shift.

Requirements

Typically requires high school diploma or the equivalent, and one year of related working experience.
Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.
Able to support 2nd Shift.

Nice To Haves

Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) experience.
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience.
Weld inspection knowledge/experience.
Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence experience.
