About The Position

Responsible for completing final inspections prior to shipment, as well as in process inspections to support shop manufacturing. This role involves conducting inspections, testing, and documenting findings to maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Aerospace Industry.
  • Must have background ion blueprint reading and GD&T.
  • Must be proficient in gaging use, inspection methods and a good background in metrology.
  • Sound computer skills and good organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment.
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and multitask.
  • Examine manufactured products, primarily aerospace machined parts, to ensure they parts meet all standards of presentation and quality.
  • Identify non-conforming materials and products, document discrepancies, and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Sikorsky, Pratt & Whitney, Bell and Government Agencies is a plus.
  • CMM operator experience a plus but will train the right candidate. (Brown & Sharpe PC-DMIS)

Responsibilities

  • Daily 1st piece inspection of components and assemblies, as well as in-process inspection duties.
  • CMM operation.
  • Set up of gaging to support manufacturing and calibration.
