About The Position

Summit Interconnect - Orange currently has an open position for a CMM Technician in second shift. Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications. The CMM Technician is responsible for dimensional inspection of product using the Optek machine. This position requires attention to detail, computer skills, and the ability to read and understand technical requirements of the traveler and blueprint.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum (1) one-year printed circuit board experience.
Ability to use the CMM program and Windows based software.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Must have very good concentration and must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions.

Responsibilities

Read, understand, and interpret travelers and drawings provided to assess requirements and special instructions required for jobs.
Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for conformity to specified standards.
Inspects product using the CMM machine.
Record and print out dimensional reports.
Identifies non-conforming product and its disposition.
Stamps mark of approval or rejection on product or traveler.
Logs job in and out with accurate counts of product.
Stacks finished boards with separator sheets for transfer to next workstation.
