About The Position

This role requires strong financial and analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and proficiency with technology, including Telehealth platforms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and extensive knowledge of insurance rules, including reimbursement, third-party payers, pre-certification, ICD-10, and CPT coding. Maintaining strict confidentiality of medical, financial, and staff-related information is crucial. The ability to multitask in an organized manner is essential, as is extensive knowledge of various medical software systems, including TeleVideo. Strong organizational and people skills, along with knowledge of medications and their effects on patients, are also required.

Requirements

  • Financial/analytical skills.

  • Skilled with technology including Telehealth platforms.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance rules, including reimbursement, third-party payers, pre-certification, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
  • Extensive knowledge of various medical software systems required, including TeleVideo.
  • Strong organizational and people skills.
  • Knowledge of medications and their effects on patients.
  • Must have a valid NC LPN License or active CMA Certification.
  • Minimum one year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment.

  • Preferred, but not required, Medicine work experience.
