About The Position

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its West
Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able
to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: rooming patients, assisting provider in exam rooms,
assisting provider with in-office procedures, patient phone call triage,
stocking rooms, obtaining prior authorizations as needed for medications,
surgeries and imaging. Position comes with competitive clinic pay and valuable

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA
• Possession of State License Practical Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
• Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.  Fridays are 1/2 days
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous ambulatory care experience in Dermatology a plus
• Experience with scribe a plus
• EMR experience preferred.
