About The Position

The Iowa Clinic is a locally owned and physician-led healthcare provider in Central Iowa, committed to exceptional care, compassion, and collaboration. This position is for a CMA/LPN/RN in Family Medicine in West Des Moines, specifically supporting Dr. Back. Requirements

Ability to assist providers in professional manner.
Iowa RN license, CMA or LPN License required.

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing services for patients of assigned physicians and APP, following established nursing practice standards and medical office hospital procedures.
Conducts comprehensive assessments of patient's care needs.
Room patients and take vitals.
Assists provider(s) with patient triage, identifies nursing diagnoses or problem lists and formulates an initial plan of care based on assessment data.
Spend enough time with your patients to listen to them and get to know them.
Participate in a department potluck or team building activity over lunch.

Return patient calls and ensure all patients feel valued and cared for.
