As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well-being through direct support and seamless coordination. Every day, you will actively collaborate on comprehensive screenings, assist with clinical procedures, provide essential health education, and expertly manage administrative tasks, leveraging technology to coordinate care for diverse patient populations. You will ensure patients feel at ease, patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical knowledge, technological fluency, genuine compassion for patient well-being, and an adaptable spirit keen on continuous learning and collaborative teamwork.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or High School GED
  • Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant course
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid Medication Aide certification by state agency required if applicable.
  • May require specialized training such as Non-Certified Radiologic Technician (NCT).
  • 4 years Medical Assistant experience required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant

  • AMT
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Direct and guide back office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow.
  • Handle medical supply inventory, orders, and cost control.
  • Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
  • Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
  • Obtain and record vital signs and other appropriate information, such as height, weight, drug allergies, current medications and presenting problem.
  • May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
