About The Position
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, provides basic medical assistance to physicians/providers and nurses by providing basic preparation of patients according to area specific Policy and Procedures including but not limited to vital signs, chart preparation, phlebotomy, procedure assistance and lab sample collection. Utilizes department specific computer systems for entry and retrieval of patient data.
Requirements
- Basic medical assistance skills
- Patient preparation skills (vital signs, chart preparation, phlebotomy, procedure assistance, lab sample collection)
- Proficiency in department specific computer systems for patient data entry and retrieval
Responsibilities
