About The Position

Spring Arbor Frankfort is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Overnight CMA I / Med Techs to join our Wellness team in our Assisted Living community. This role offers a calmer, more resident-focused environment with consistent 12-hour overnight scheduling. The Medication Assistant provides resident care services, including assistance with self-administration of medication, under the supervision of the Resident Care Director. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, maintaining communication with other associates for continuity of care, participating in and leading resident activities, and meeting customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Kentucky CMA I certification required
  • Ability to work overnight hours and weekends as scheduled
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must possess current Medication Training certification.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
  • The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy providing compassionate overnight care
  • Senior living or caregiving experience preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year experience with senior adults highly preferred.
  • May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA), depending on the state requirements; if licensed or certified, must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency.
  • Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the State.
  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications safely and accurately
  • Monitor residents and report changes in condition
  • Maintain medication records and documentation
  • Support resident comfort, safety, and overnight wellness
  • Help maintain a calm and welcoming overnight environment
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care.
  • Work closely with and maintain daily communications with the Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care and services is maintained for the residents.
  • Participate in resident activities and lead resident activities as needed.
  • Meet customer service standards in a friendly, helpful, courteous manner with resident satisfaction a priority.
